I had such a blast photographing Nikki and Eric's beautiful wedding at the Laurelhurst Club! I went to high school with Nikki and knew she would be a blast to work with (and she was), and Eric was such an outgoing, go-with-the-flow guy that between the two of them, the day flew by with lots of laughter, jokes, dancing, and of course, a whole lot of love in the air! The energy was contagious! Their wedding was such so adorable, from her stunning HANDMADE dress to the ring bearer bustin' a move or two on the dance floor. I couldn't be happier for them to begin their life together as a married couple and as a family!
This shoot is definitely one of my favorite to date! Kristi agreed to model for me last minute for a styled senior photo shoot, and boy am I glad she did! Clearly, she is GORGEOUS, but we also had a fantastic time laughing, posing, and talking, and after we were finished, she showed me a fantastic food cart I'd never been to (thank goodness for Portland food carts) and we had lunch together. I am so utterly in love with these photos! For my very FIRST blog post, I am so thrilled to be blogging my grandparents 60th Anniversary Photos! We were going to get in the car and drive to our location, but just before we left, I popped my head out to their back yard and saw a gorgeous patch of golden light just before the sun set. It couldn't have turned out more perfect. The two of them, in the backyard of the house they raised their three children in and that has become epicenter of all family gatherings and special occasions. We laughed and joked the whole time. It was an evening I will never forget.
