I had so much fun with Nicholle on this lucky fall day. While the forecast had us expecting rain and dreariness, instead we got sunshine and laughter. As we celebrated her upcoming college graduation by taking senior photos, I was reminded repeatedly what beautiful and brilliant person she is. Nicholle is passionate, loving, hard-working, and dedicated. She brings so much light into the lives of those that know her and I was honored to spend the time catching up, laughing together, and talking over our walk and the coffee date that followed. I am so proud of Nicholle's accomplishment and can't wait to see what incredible things she continues to do in the world.
This week I had the privilege of taking an old friend's engagement photos. Megan and I met in high school and became good friends. She was one of those friends that I could tell anything to, get into mischief with, and is the kind of person who knows how to stick with people through good and the bad times. As can easily happen after high school and as people go on to new adventures, it's been almost nine years since Megan and I have had the opportunity to catch up. I was so excited to receive Megan's message asking me to be her wedding photographer and even more excited when the limited schedule I have these days allowed me to do it! After meeting and talking for an hour (some about photography) just a few days earlier, we agreed that we needed to get in on this beautiful weather while it stuck around. So, just a few short days later Megan and Shane agreed to meet up at SE Portland's beloved Mt. Tabor for engagement photos. It was gorgeous out and so much fun to meet Megan's fiance and see them interact together. I can hardly wait for the wedding. Enjoy Megan & Shane's autumn engagement photos :-)
